Who is actually reviewing my resume?
Our team — senior technology executives with leadership experience across hedge funds, investment banks, and asset managers — personally refines every expert-reviewed resume. The AI-tailored version is generated by Claude grounded in your actual career history, never fabricating experience. You will always know whether a given resume is AI-tailored or expert-reviewed.
How is this different from Jobscan, Teal, or Jobright?
Those are volume tools. They help you send more applications. We believe that's the wrong goal at your level. Senior leaders need fewer, better applications — and an actual expert reviewing the work product before it goes out. The platforms that optimize for keyword match scores are optimizing for the wrong thing.
Does the AI make up experience I don't have?
No. Our resume pipeline is architected around a "claims graph" — every bullet in a tailored resume must trace to a specific claim you made about your real career. The AI can rephrase and emphasize, but it cannot invent. Every output is auditable.
What's a "deep-research interview prep"?
When you have an interview coming up, submit the role, company, hiring manager, and JD. Our AI does live web research — pulling the hiring manager's LinkedIn, podcasts, and published writing, the company's recent funding/launches/exec changes, the competitive landscape — and produces a dossier with predicted questions, answer scaffolds grounded in your actual experience, smart questions for you to ask back, and hiring-manager intelligence. Normal-range dossiers release to you automatically within minutes. Outliers (unusually high or low fit) are spot-checked by our team before release.
What if I'm not a technology executive?
JobSearchPrep was built for senior technology leaders and we're staying focused there until we do that well. You're welcome to try us — but be aware our team's strongest expertise is in technology leadership. If you're in another function, you may get more value from a domain-specific career coach.
What happens to my data?
Your resumes and career history are stored encrypted. We do not sell your data. We do not use your resume content to train public AI models. You can export everything and delete your account at any time. Full privacy policy available before signup.
Can I cancel if it's not working?
Yes, month-to-month, cancel anytime, no clawbacks. If our product doesn't earn its keep in your search, you shouldn't be paying for it. First 7 days are full-refund if you're dissatisfied.
What if I don't use my full quota in a month?
Quotas are use-it-or-lose-it. They reset on the 1st of each calendar month. We don't roll unused deliverables forward — that pattern usually leads to a stockpile that crashes the queue once everyone tries to use them at the same time.
